Spring craft day guest gifts galore & mini album project

Hello there and welcome back. Today I promised to give you a sneak peek of the gifts the ladies that joined me for my Spring crafting day received as a personal thank you from me for coming.

We had a fabulous day chatting, laughing and of course making our chosen project - mini album journalling books out of Simply Scrappin kits - so much so I totally forgot to take photos tsk tsk! The ideas and inspirarion for what to do the bound page & pocket filled mini album books amazed me and I heard all sorts of ideas such as wedding mementoes, christening/baptism memories, recipe binders, gardening gifts, craft kits - endless possibilities!

The Simply Scrappin kits were fantastic value at £18.95 each and had enough paper & card in to make our 8 page book & cover project and there was even some left over! There was a generous 3 sheets of die cut embellishments to use - will be popping some onto some cards & tags as well ;)

Anyway here were the little gifts I made for my guests ....

Each guest had  a Patio Party (126916 £9.95) covered notebook complete with pen and decorated with a piece of vanilla flower trim (126869), a punched butterfly, embossed piece from Delicate Designs folders (127023) , finished with a scalloped circle with their initial stamped in Summer Starfruit from the Letter It stamp set (w 122840 £39.95, c 122842 £31.95).

I prettied up the wire binding with tied on striped organdy ribbon (melon mambo 129293, marina mist 129292, old olive 129291 £8.95 for 9.1m) from the Spring/Summer catalogue.

I made a sliding cover treat box and inside popped some Summer Smooches paper covered sweeties plus a cute fabric flower corsage cut from the More Amore fabric (129307 £8.95) in the Spring/Summer catalogue using the Fun flowers Bigz L die (121812 £28.95) which could be used as a corsage or as a hair decoration.

The box was decorated with ticket stamps from the That's the Ticket set (w 128072 £20.95, c 128075 £16.95), punched with the duo ticket builder punch (126883 £15.50) and then ribboned with  pacific point stitched grosgrain ribbon (126878 £4.50 for 9.1m)
I made a gift bag (the one in the picture is made from last years Perfectly Preserved paper) with a hand made rosette finished with a Naturals Designer Button (127554 £4.50 for 24). The rosette was made using the simply scored scoring board tool (122334 £25.95). The little bag was chock full of card, paper, ribbon & embellishment samples.

And lastly, I made a water bottle tag complete with a little pocket and a flower cut from the Blossom party Originals die (115971 £15.95) and decorated again in Patio Party papers.
