Stampin Up French Foliage masculine card

Hi there! Quick question for you ... what's your favourite type of leaf? The mighty oak, the pretty hawthorn, strong birch, magical beech, the horse chestnut conker tree, the weeping willow?

Mine's the maple as the colours they turn throughout the year are truly & awesomely magnificent :) Hopefully nearby you will have some trees that whose leaves are starting to look a lot like these - a glorious green!

Thi card is simple & sweet - one colour stamping using Gumball Green (one of the new 2012-2014 In colours) cardstock (127543 £6.25 for 24 A4 sheets) & ink (126861 £4.95) . A whisper white cardstock base was stamped using the  French Foliage stamp set ((w) 120845 £17.95 (c) 121166 £13.95) which offers a beautiful array of vintage leaf stamps perfect for many styles.

A slice of In Colour designer paper in Gumball Green created the banner effect and then a torn & distressed piece of cardstcok completed the look I was wanting. The sentiment was from the Sale-a-bration Blooming Marvellous set - don't forget there's just one more week to order this free set with a £45 product order! A little left over wool from the Autumn/Winter catalogue for the bow and the card was complete. What do you think? I love to receive comments on my cards, please don't be shy!!

I'm going to enter this card into a couple of online challenges this week - Retro Sketches #54 & Just Add Ink # 157 where the challenge there is "Just Add Green", 365 cards sketch challenge and Seize the Birthday where it's a masculine sketch birthday card - I have flipped the sketch for this one.  Crafters Cafe - I've also linked to your green challenge #14. Think I've achieved that goal!

If you'd like to make this card and need the component parts then please get in touch at lisa.barton@hotmail.co.uk and I can order them for you. Whilst you're here, have a browse at my other posts - I try and update every other day if not daily so there's lots to see!

In the meantime, will be back at the weekend with some new work. See you soon :)
