How to make an Easter accordian mini album card with Stampin Up Everybunny stamps

Good morning, just 10 days to go until Easter Sunday, where is the time going? Can't quite believe we will be 1/4 of the way through the year so soon!

Today's card is a little different, I am trying out some new card styles and thought the accordian style looked fun to make & receive - and a great way to tell a story, especially for young children who are unable to read sentiments. I know my youngest girls would love this little card, take a peek for yourself & let me know what you think ...

Here's the front of the card - it looks a little wonky - have you ever tried to stand an oval egg shape upright? Apologies for the light, it is so grey and dark today despite being right next to the window to take the photographs :(

It opens out into 4 cute embellished Easter theme pages  ....

And here it is all opened out together ..

I love it and think I will be making a few more of these :)

The images were from the Everybunny stamp set  stamped onto Whisper White cardstock which was coloured using Many Marvellous Markers and layered upon designer series papers from Tea for Two and Birds of a feather. The images & papers were then punched using the scallop circle punch, the scallop square punch, the modern label and decorative label and the label & oval framelits were used with the Big Shot to make the overall so saffron card oval egg shape to begin with.

The paper piercing was achieved using the piercing pack and mat and the hand rolled flowers were made by spiral cutting a scallop circle. The pansy flower was made using a now retired butterfly punch with Tea for Two papers. The little butterflies were punched in Tea for Two papers using the Bitty butterfly punch new in the Spring/Summer catalogue. I've used pink pirouette taffeta ribbon & crochet lace trim as well as some subtle brads and buttons. The leaves were cut from Gumball Green cardstock and cut using the circle punch technique.

There are lots & lots (and lots!) of Easter theme card challenges online this week, so I've picked just a random few to enter this card in to ...

Right, time to get on and clear my desk ready for the next project - see you again soon!
