How to make a golf card using Stampin Up pennant and circle punches

Hi there readers and hope the weekend is treating you well. Today I am sharing my father-in-laws birthday card and being a golf fan I know he will appreciate this!

It also doubles up as my entry to two online challenges ...

&

I started with a piece of Whisper White cardstock and then cut a strip of the green Polka Parade designer series paper and then ran it through my big shot with the Large Scallop Edgelits, then using the owl builder punch I punched out even more holes to enhance the golf ball theme :)

I then punched various size circles out of Gumball Green cardstock and then ran them through the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder to indent them to look like golf balls.
I then used another cut piece of the Polka Parade designer series paper layered with Whisper White to which I add a punched oval basic black piece of cardstock for the hole and then a larger punched white circle, once again embossed with Perfect Polka dots for the golf ball itself. The flag was made from a strip of basic black cardstock and the Petite Pennants Builder punch.

A line of grass was then stamped in Gumball Green marvellous marker pen from the now retired Easter Blossoms stamp set. The plain and simple sentiment is from the For my family stamp set.
