Stampin Write marker pens are an inexpensive way to massively expand the ink colours and shades you have available to use in your cardmaking, scrapbooking, journalling and papercrafting projects - and here are 5 tips & techniques to make the most of your markers!
- Breathing - "huff" on your stamps after you color them to moisten the ink right before you stamp
- Tapping - after coloring your image, just tap the image with another marker, and you get a cool two-toned effect!
- Markering your stamps - if you color outside the lines, you can always remove any unwanted ink easily with a Blender pen.
- Spritzing - you can do this when using an ink pad too. After you are finished markering the image, just give it a spritz with water and it changes the way the stamped image looks. It gives it a softer, water-colored look :)
- Watercolour technique - cover your acrylic blocks with layers of different ink marker colours - spritz with water for a fabulous ombre effect like this!
