Simple summer silhouettes stamping

A quick and easy card for you today seen as it's Sunday!

Creating cards doesn't always have to be time consuming - Stampin Up! rubber stamps have such gorgeous images & details that sometimes the focus only needs to be the stamp and not the embellishments! With over 50 colour shades of ink & card to choose from  all of which have coordinating ribbons, buttons & brads to add to the fun it is guaranteed there will be something to suit everyone's taste and style.

This card took about 10 minutes to whip up - quicker than a trip to the shops to buy one! The base layer is pretty in pink overlaid with distressed & torn whisper white. The flowers are from Summer Silhouettes stamped in So Saffron and Pretty in Pink with the leaves stamped in soon to be retiring Certainly Celery.

The pink blossoms remind me of the white dandelion heads hence one of them being airlifted! The yellow flowers look like buttercups - so quite a wildflower menagerie today!

The sentiment is stamped in Summer Starfruit onto So Saffron distressed card and is from the Bring on the Cake sentiment stamp set. The ribbon is pretty in pink stitched grosgrain.

Popping by Card Mania CMC20 - flowers, Forever Friends #61 - pastels, Love to create #65 - flowers,  Songbird challenges - flowers, Whoopsi Daisy - pretty in pink, Freshly Brewed challenges - flowers,  Simon Says stamp - flower power.

Hope you'll be back tomorrow when I have a shaped flower card for you with a new stampset.
