Love pretty stationery! These covered post it note pads & notebooks are a really quick & easy way to spruce up and prettify ordinary stationery items to make them into something special. Here's how ...

For the post it note holder take your post it notepad (mine measured the standard 7.5cms x 7.5cms) and cut a piece of card measuring 17.5 cms x 9cms. Score at 8 cms & 9 cms and then fold over. The card will overlap the post it notepad by approx 3/4 cms on every side. Then simply decorate!
I've used the Fun flowers Bigz L die for my decoration with a belly band & flowers cut from Sweater Weather designer series papers. The embossing on the card was done using the Fancy Fan embossing folder - I used 1 of each of all my embossing folders for each post it notepad I made so there was a lovely selection to choose from :)
For the covered notebook, mine measured 12.5cms x 7.5cms so I cute a piece of Sweater Weather paper measuring 28.5cms x 8cms and then wrapped it around the notebook encasing it in pretty paper. A belly band, scallop circle and a punched butterfly completed the notebook.
As these are so quick and easy to make, you could churn a few out at a time to always have on hand should the need for a small gift arise or you just want to make someone smile!
Last party bag favour here tomorrow - and an excellent recycling idea! See you then :)
