Stampin Up UK Vintage style gold embossed Christmas stocking decoration, Christmas puddings & Pannetone!

So our tree is up, the wreath is hung, the cake is baked, the puddings are resting, the presents are bought, the pannetone is wrapped ... time to dust down the stockings! Here's one I made earlier ;)

Our Christmas Eve fireplace stockings are a mixture of burlap & cream felt but I wanted to make a little stocking decoration for the tree. I got the printable template from http://www.firstpalette.com/tool_box/printables/stocking.html and cut it out in Naturals Ivory and crumb Cake cardstock with crumb cake ink sponged around the edges to give a vintage aged look.

The little vintage hand painted glass Santa decoration is such a cutie and is part of this years Marks & Spencers 3 for 2 Christmas decoration range.

I've stamped butterflies over the stocking body from Papillon Potpourri stamp set punched with the Elegant Butterfly punch and then embossed with gold embossing powder and the heat too with the Clockworks stamp set on the stocking cuff.

The snowflakes on the vellum cuff & the lovely reindeer are from the gorgeous Warmth & Wonder stamp set  full of lots of lovely Christmas images pg 39 in the Autumn/Winter catalogue which will be replaced next February by a new Spring/Summer catalogue! The background to the reindeer is the En Francais stamp - a brilliant addition to any stampers stash! The frame was made by embossing the Designer Frames embossing folder.

A boho blossom punched flower in soft sky and a handmade ruffled flower made with layers of Soft Sky blossom punch cardstock secured with an an antique brad adds more delicacy to the stocking.

And here are the goodies! Handmade with love ready for Christmas dinner for 12 on the big day itself :)
