Simply sketched watercolour poppy

Today's project really shows how you can put Stampin write markers to good use to make a beautiful bespoke background...

I used the marker/block/spritz water technique with markers in real red, daffodil delight & pear pizzazz and then stamped the gorgeous poppy from the Simply Sketched hostess set in baked brown sugar straight over the top. The cardstock used for the backgrounds is confetti cream and the new baked brown sugar or baked bean sugar as my little ones like to call it ;).

And here's the stamp set itself with 3 fab images & 3 great sentiments., just £13(w)/£10(c) value as a free product with orders over £150.

Over at Cute daisy may this week the challenge is Use your markers, Crafty sentiments - female birthday, Dutch dare #226 - floral frenzy, daring cardmakers - paint effects so I will be entering this card for these challenges.

Back to nature tomorrow for a look at another new stamp set! See you then :)
