Birthday basics is a delightful range of papers choc-a-block with celebration style patterns suitable for all ages and genders - perfect to have on hand in your stash!
Here's what I made with them ...
This card uses Pacific Point as the base card layer and then just a strip of the Birthday Basics paper trimmed to fit the card with the corners rounded using the corner punch.
I then punched a triangular piece of Pacific Point using the Petite Pennants Builder punch (how I love bunting!!) and overlaid it with a stamped image from the new Sketched Birthday stamp set which fitted the punch perfectly - that is fab when that happens!
It looks as though the hat has been cut into the paper from the photo but it hasn't been; it's merely been layered on using dimensionals :)
The little string of bunting in the top left hand corner is from the Make a Cake stamp set - we will be taking a closer look later this week at this set.
Here's what I used ...
Sketched Birthday w 130423 £21.95, c 130426 £17.95
Birthday Basics dsp 130145 £9.95 for 12 x 12"x12" double sided patterned papers
