How to ink over Stampin Up embossing folders & make pleated ribbons using Stampin Up Wildflower meadow & woodgrain embossing folder

Another week begins! Have been out and about this weekend savouring the delights of nature in summer whilst the girls were tree climbing and fairy garden spotting... which gave me this idea of peeking inside a tree ;)

I've used confetti cream cardstock for the more vintage look and then embossed it with the woodgrain embossing folder. Soft suede ink was sponged over the woodgrain texture to add dimension.

The 2.5" circle punch was used for the cut out piece and the Wildflower meadow stamp (fantastic price!) was coloured with stampin write markers in soft sky, so saffron, old olive, calypso coral and pink pirouette for the images. The wildflower meadow stamp also has a dotted background but i chose not to colour this as it would conflict with the "confetti" effect already in the cardstock.

The wildflower meadow stamp also has a matching embossing folder with it - that's on my wish list for next time! I think it's just as pretty on it's own as stamped on top of the embossing :)

Isn't this new ribbon just gorgeous! There are 12 colourways in the new Chevron ribbon - can't wait to get my hands on some more soon! I've pleated is and stuck it down with glue dots for security. The banner is from the sketched birthday set and stamped in pear pizzazz and fussy cut.
