Stampin Up's new catalogue has a wonderful range of new stamp sets - including several of those featured here!
First up is the Postcard stamp - stamped here in the new Baked Brown Sugar ink which also features as the background card colour. The vintage style Postcard background stamp can be used in a myriad of ways - from an actual postcard to a jornalling note, scrapbooking memory or a notecard or tag- love stamps with lots of flexibility and Stampin Up are masters of this!
The card used for the postcard is the classic Confetti Cream which has a lovely aged look and is one of my favourite cardstocks to use. I've rounded the corners with the corner punch to give a softer look and pinned the postcard to the background with an antique brad.
The stamp is from the Postage Due set and the sentiment is from one of the new Hostess sets "Sweetly Framed" which is full of sweet little phrases, sentiments & images in a lovely cursive italic script. This set can be earnt as a freebie for orders over £150.
The label us punched with the Decorative label punch which fits it really nicely with the sentiment punched with the modern label punch which I shortened to fit more snugly :) The label edges are daubed in Baked Brown Sugar.
Can you see the seashells stamped in the background? They are stamped in baked brown sugar again and are from the By the seashore set which I am polishing down again for the holidays ahead ready to show you scrapbook pages in the Autumn :)
