Using bakers twine on a card

Or this post could be called Papillion Potpourri & Print Poetry - how I love Stampin Up's product nme alliterations!

Decided to challenge myself today to use just black, white and one other colour - my cards are usually a riot of colours & embellishments so creeping a bit out of my comfort zone! What's your favourite style?

I've used basic black (121688 £6.25) and whisper white (106549 £7.50 40 sheets) cardstock overlaid with some in colour raspberry ripple (127545 £6.25).

The butterfly from Papillion Potpourri (w 123757 £16.95, c 123759 £13.95) was stamped firstly straight onto the whisper white in raspberry ripple ink and then for a second time onto a scrap piece that I then punched out with using the elegant butterfly punch (127526 £14.25) and secured with a dimensional to give a 3D, layered effect.

The banners were made with print poetry designer series paper stack (129312 £6.25) and the bakers twine is cherry cobbler (123125 £2.50 for 22.9m) which is a similar hue to the raspberry ripple (luckily!)

Despite the minimal colours and embellishments I think I quite like it :)
