Now on to todays project - a striking monochromatic card. I wanted to make something that looked like I was birdwatching through binoculars, my inspiration being from a family friend who's going through a tough time - here's what I came up with ...
Does it look like it to you? The background card is whisper white to which I've sponged basic black around the edges then covered a portion of the card with Modern Medley papers - this quatrefoil pattern is VERY popular at the moment!
Using my 2.5" circle punch I made the 2 circles and then stamped with the simply sketched stamp set underneath where the circles would lay. The images are so striking that I felt they needed no colour or extra adornment.
The new basic black chevron ribbon is used as the only embellishment - can't wait for Halloween crafting to start using this ribbon n abundance! the sentiment comes from the Fabulous Phrases set - with 30 word stamps in this set there's always the right one to be found.
