So here's some little mementos we all created together to remind us of those happy few days ...
I was inspired by the little tents in the Annual Stampin Up catalogue on page 50 using the template here, thanks Nina!
The tents are made with Afternoon Picnic paper which I thought was apt for this weeks challenge over at Quirky Crafts #16 - picnics/BBQ the scene reflects our holiday which is the challenge at Little Claires Designs and the Create a Scene challenge at Try it On Tuesday, Crafts for Eternity - summer sun.
The green card is Always Artichoke Core'dinations which has a nice bit of texture to play the role of the grass :) The back fence is Chocolate Chip embossed with the Woodgrain embossing folder used with the Big Shot. The leaves are punched using the bird punch and the flowers are from Boho Blossoms with basic pearls in the centre. The elegant butterfly punch was also used.
The little tent poles were made with cocktail sticks with Fabulous Phrases stamped on slivers of Afternoon Picnic.
A little picnic table completes the scene - with a mini box made from chocolate chip card with a plate modelled from Afternoon Picnic and the 1" circle punch - complete with slivers of sandwiches!
As this was a family project it would only be fair to showcase the girls talents - plus they are very excited to see themselves in blog print ;)

This is Izzys, age 6 - love the glamping lady!
