Dreaming of a white light Christmas? Here's a simple decoration idea to turn plain white votive candles into a great gift...
One of Stampin Up's often overlooked products is the vellum cardstock, an opaque white card which can be embossed, stamped on, shaped and cut. I used it a week or so ago on my vintage style recycled tin can candle holder project.
I've stamped onto the vellum with white Stazon ink using the Everything Eleanor stamp set which is full of lovely vintage style stamp images. A tea lace doily, linen thread and some vintage buttons and brads complete the timeless elegant look.

These lovely scented glass votives were from Laura Ashley but you can pick them up almost anywhere nowadays - although my current firm favourite is the Salted Caramel yankee candles which are on my wish list for Christmas! What's your favourite candle scent?
