With Christmas coming do you end up with a disorganised purse full of receipts, vouchers and loyalty cards? Here's an idea to keep them all in one place and easy to find if required ...
I found the tutorial in an old paper craft magazine - it was very simple to make! Simply cut a rectangle of card and score equally in 2 places and then score a smaller panel which will make the fold-over front part.
Using the same colour card cut two smaller rectangles and concertina fold them - stick these to the middle panels of the previous folded rectangle, then secure to the left hand card panel. this will give you the slots inside to pop your tickets/receipts into.
Cut a strip of card, round the corners and secure to the back of the wallet leaving a small lip hanging over the front to slot into the fastening which is made from a small, thin rectangular piece secured either side with brads.
I've added a Stampin Up antique brad onto my strip to look like a closure stud which has been hidden from the inside with a crumb cake seam binding rolled ribbon flower. If you look closely you may also see the paper piercing/faux stitching :)
If you'd like to add a few notes/reminders pages, cut some more rectangles of card and slip them into the holder. Decorate all panels with your choice of patterned paper - I've used Stampin Up sweater weather designer series paper for mine.
