Pinkies Spring/Summer blog hop - Tea for Two dress up framelits

Welcome back and thank you for stopping by today for Part 2 of the Pinkies Spring/Summer Blog Hop.

We are showcasing lots of new gorgeous projects today, using products from the new Stampin’ Up!® Spring/Summer Catalogue. Simply use the buttons at the end of each post to keep on hopping. We love comments, so please tell us what you think!

If you have arrived here from Dawn's blog, a big hello and welcome to you.........

My card for today showcases the gorgeous new Dress Up framelits dies (130101 £20.95) from the new Spring/Summer catalogue  but with a vintage/retro twist.

The card itself is in Whisper White cardstock (106550 £7.50 for 40 A4 sheets) which was run through the Big Shot die cutting machine (113439 £87.95)  using the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder (117335 £7.50) to give some definition to the background.

I used crumb cake cardstock (121685 £6.25 for 24 A4 sheets) for cutting the tailors dummy framelit and then used one of the two dress shape framelits ( 130101 £27.95) combined with the Tea for Two designer series paper (129311 £9.95 for 12 x 12"x12" sheets) for the dress itself. I just love the spring feel of the yellows and blue hues in this set of designer series papers!

The dress was finished off with some new vanilla Flower Trim (126869 £6.25 for 1.8m) along with a few Pearl basic jewels (119247 £4.50 for 150) at the neckline.

The new cute clips provided the hanger clip (129389 £4.50 for 24 - 8 of 3 designs) to add some more detail.

As ticket sentiments are sooo fashionable at the moment (and so very versatile!) I have used two from the new That's the Ticket stamp set which includes 8 all year round ticket sentiments (wood mount 128072 £20.95/clear mount 128075 £16.95) and punched these with the new cute Ticket Duo Builder punch (126883 £15.50).

That's all from me for today - from here you can hop over to Nicky's blog to see what crafty creations she has made for you to enjoy!
