I have spent the last few days working on a card for the Paper Players CAS challenge #133 which is:
I've used the new in colour summer starfruit cardstock as the base layer as yellow is such a gender neutral colour but such a sunshiney, bright & fun colour and then I have tried to keep my little washing line of baby clothes gender neutral as well so the card could be for a girl or boy or even a set of each! The challenge prescribed the use of buttons and bows which I have used on both the mini clothes pegs as well as the brads which compliment the curves of the sentiment which I have layered to look like sunshine from behind a cloud (hopefully not too cloudy a day to dry the washing!). The sentiment is from the Sale-a-bration Bloomin Marvellous set and perfectly describes the feeling when welcoming a new baby into the world :)
The little outfits are cut from the Tea for Two designer series paper with the owl punch, then strung along the linen thread washing line. The bows are all Stampin Up ribbons from past and present and the Designer Builder brads are enhanced with a little more Tea for Two dsp under the epoxy bubble. I just love these but was a bit afraid to use them at first as they are quite big!
