Welcome to our week of Stampin Up storage and organisatonal ideas to create! To  start off, my upcycled plastic pot trinket box is really easy, quick & inexpensive to make and is ideal as a lightweight jewellery holiday when travelling around! Plus you can personalise it to suit your styles and favourite colours, give as a gift or simply make with children to keep their little treasures safe!

To start with you need to select which patterned papers you wish to use - I've used a mixture of Stampin Up retro fresh, sweet sorbet & In colour designer series paper stack papers. Scraps are just perfect to use up too when decorating the pots! And speaking of the pots, mine are simply the leftover pots that Stampin Up brads come in! See, you never know what may come in useful one day ;)

  • Simply take two pieces of 12" x 12" patterned paper and draw a large circle on each approx diameter 8" - a saucepan base or cake tin insert would be perfect for this! Punch a hole in each piece at one edge.
  • Then cut a piece of coordinating colour card sized 5.5" x 2.5" and score & crease along the middle then round the corners. Cover this piece with a coordinated patterned piece of paper measuring 5" x 2 1/4" - don''t forget to use your envelope punch board or corner punch to round the corners off this piece too!
  • Secure the two large paper circles to the rectangular piece of card on the edges and fold over to make an clam shell like shape
  • Select 5 empty, clean plastic pots you wish to use - I've used a variety of depth pots to add contrast. Cover each of the pots in turn with patterned paper strips around the outside and cut circles with punches to fit the insides. Secure them safely to one of the large paper circles using a strong glue or sticky strip.
  • Take some twine and thread through the punch holes on the patterned paper circles and tie together to close up.
