DIY ribbon tree with Stampin Up Watercolour Wonder - great Mothers Day gift!

It's the last day of our week of handmade Mothers Day gift ideas and this pretty ribbon tree can be appreciated all year round - you could even make a seasonal one to celebrate the coming of Spring, Summer, Autumn & Winter, not forgetting a Halloween, Easter and Christmas version too! Good job they're quick and easy to make!

Al you need is a polystyrene ball tree (I get mine from Ebay) and plenty of (approx 100!)  paper pieces measuring 8cms x 3cms and sewing pins. Simply curl the paper pieces around and pin into the polystyrene ball until it's covered! Dont forget to cover the stem as well to coordinate. Great project for the weekend, whilst watching TV or one for the kids even!

These ball trees are perfect table decor for parties, weddings and celebratory occasions - they'll be greatly admired but shhh - accept the compliments and don't let on how easy they are!

Don't forget ... we'd love to see your Stampin Up creations made solely with Stampin Up products only please! Send your photos to lisa.barton@hotmail.co.uk and we'll feature them in our readers gallery!

Have a great weekend! We'll be back next week with some Stampin Up organising and storage solutions!
