How to make a memento, note card or recipe box with dividers & thank you gift bags
This cute little box & dividers was our class project last week and can be used to hold all sorts of contents - I have made several and use mine to hold cards I have made, notes & reminders I need to refer to, recipes & inspiration ideas for future projects. I came across this lovely little box with tutorial here at Bekka's blog - thanks for the inspiration Bekka!
My box was crafted with basic black cardstock (with a nod in the direction of forthcoming Halloween!) and Epic Day designer series paper and I tweaked the tutorial by adding a cutting grid for my class members to follow to ensure they got all the pieces they needed out of their 12"x12" paper sheets.

The decoration was made using the scallop circle punch for the black card, the circle punch for the Epic Day paper and the little butterflies were punched using the Elegant Butterfly punch - still on a 15% discount offer when bought as a bundle with the Papillion Potpourri butterfly stamp set until 30th September!

The gift bags are full of Stampin Up seasonal papers, twine, embellishments, handmade card toppers and this month I added tags all ready to be made up for gifts for a Stampin Up Christmas!
I used a variety of blue cardstock shades which I embossed with the new Pretty Print embossing folder and then stuck a coordinating two step flower from the Stippled Blossoms stamp set along with butterflies from the Papillion Potpourri set - which still has a 15% discount offer on when purchased with the coordinating Elegant Butterfly punch!
The scallop circle was made using whisper white card and the scallop circle punch and the sentiments are from Fabulous Phrases stamp set in crushed curry & coastal cabana ink.

Stampin up simply stars 18th birthday gift wrap
Stampin Up Simply Stars to start the week off! We were celebrating this weekend as the girls older sister Hannah turned 18! To celebrate we bought her a keepsake Pandora bracelet complete with 18 silver heart charm - we plan to add to it over the years to build her a good times keepsake bracelet :)
Here's the packaging using Simply Stars stamps, some gold embossing powder and Dazzling Details embossing powder ...
I couldn't bear to wrap the bracelet box in anything but the unique gift bag it came in! So we tagged it instead using Stampin Up simply stars stamp set, the alphabet stamps from the Notable alphabet stamp set & the sentiment from the Bring on the Cake stamp set. The tags were cut from very vanilla card and the small heart punch was used to cut the ribbon hole. I punched the initials tag with the Decorative label punch.
I couldn't however resist making over the box that the bracelet came in as it was a bit white, boring and bland ;)
Some sweater weather designer series paper, a scrunched tea doily, an antique brad and some strips of burlap left over from last weekends wreath project and a plain kraft gift box is transformed :)

Lilys stampin up elegant butterfly scrapbook page
Here's my eldest daughter Lily's lovely scrapbook page inspired by the Stampin Up butterfly punch - just realised I promised you this post for yesterday and then didn't publish it! 
Lily has used the Stampin Up Elegant Butterfly punch (have you ordered your 15% off stamps & punch bundle yet?) along with a retired butterfly punch and layered them together with a touch of burlap to add texture and coordination with the Natural Composition Paper which serves as her base layer. The flower was punched with the Blossom punch and she has coloured the simply pressed clay button in the centre of the scrunched blossom too - what a talent!
I love all the subtle little details - the bakers twine bow, the distressed and inked edges and the little notebook style sentiment - but most of all I love her smile!

Quick & easy gift tags using Stampin Up punches & Sketched Birthday stamps
A quick and easy Gift tag idea for you today using Stampin Up blossom punch for hand made flowers & sketched birthday & morning post stamps for the tags.
The tag itself was made using the now retired Two Tags die - I couldn't bear to part with mine as I find it so useful - but you can hand cut a luggage tag shape from card as your base or use one of the delightful tags in the Tag a Bag Accessory kit. The little flower is punched using the Blossom punch and then layered and scrunched with a brad to secure it together.
This present was destined for my eldest daughters friend Hannah who celebrated her 11th birthday last week - the initial H is from the Morning Post stamp set and was stamped in Primrose Petals and then embossed with iridescent ice embossing powder using the Stampin Up heat tool giving it a rainbow glitter sparkle. The balloons and banner were stamped from the sketched birthday set and then hand cut - we get so spoilt with Stampin Up coordinating punches and stamps that hand cutting seems such a chore!
Then to top it all, a lovely ruffled flower was made using layers of card die cut from the scallop circle die using my Big Shot and again together with an antique brad.
She was tickled pink with the packaging and inside was a This & That journal, Epic Day stickers, Rotary Stamp and Epic Day designer series papers for her to record the events of her special day and many more to come :)
A scrap book page designed & made by my daughter to look forward to tomorrow - my girls love borrowing my Stampin Up punches and as they are so well made I don't worry about them damaging them! Keeps them quiet for a few precious moments!
